Ipinakita na ng Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) ang bagong korona para sa 2022 winner nito sa “Ultimate Reigns” gala night sa Hilton Manila grand ballroom kamakailan.
Ang korona, na tinawag na “La Mer en Majeste”, ay ginawa ng Jewelmer. ay Gumamit sila ng golden South Sea na kapuna-opuna sa disenyo nito.
Ipinost ng MUPH sa kanilang Instagram account ang isang 40 second video na nagpapakilala sa “La Mer en Majeste.”
Ayon sa kanilang caption: “There is a mysterious fascination with the sea’s waves and its continuous ebb and flow, perpetually radiating infinite power and magnificent generosity. Through meaningful discoveries and explorations of her vibrant splendor, we have learned from the sea’s enchanting depths. And over time, the sea reveals her secrets. She gifts us with something phenomenal, something uniquely beautiful: The National Gem of the Philippines, the golden South Sea pearl—a radiant symbol of the harmonious relationship between man and nature, capturing the very spirit of the Filipinos.”

Mismong sina Jewelmer chief executive officer Jacques Cristophe Branellec, MUPH national director na si Shamcey Supsup-Lee at Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez ang nagpakilala sa bagong korona.
Ang espesyal na gabi ay tinampukan ng mga fashion segment na nagpakita sa runway skills ng 32 kandidata.
Tumagal ng halos isa at kalahating oras ang fashion extravaganza na na-stream nang live sa pamamagitan ng YouTube channel ng Empire PH.
Ang Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Finals ay gaganapin ngayong April 30 sa Mall of Asia Arena kung saan magiging host sina Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere at Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Tebow.
