Inanunsyo ng anak ni Fanny na si Maktin Miranda sa kanyang Facebook account ang masamang balita.
Ayon sa kanya, “It is with a heavy heart to share to everyone that my Father, Felix Mariano Fausto Jr. aka Fanny Serrano has peacefully joined our creator last night , around 9pm MNL, at the comfort of our home.”
Nagpasalamat din siya sa lahat ng mga taong nagbibigay pugay sa naging kontribusyon ng tinaguriang “Philippine Beauty Pioneer”.
“The whole family are comforted by the fact that a lot of you are celebrating his life and paying tributes on how he has touched people’s lives.”
Dagdag pa ni Maktin, “Interment details to follow, as we, the family, are still fixing all the necessary documents needed. We appreciate everyone’s condolences. Thank you for being with us on this difficult time.”
Inalala din ng swimwear designer na si Domz Ramos sa kanyang social media account ang naitulong ni Fanny sa kanyang karera noong siya ay nag-uumpisa pa lamang.

Matatandaang ibinalita ni Sharon Cuneta na nagkaroon ng matinding stroke si Fanny noong Marso 2021.
Ayon pa sa megastar, “Hi guys, it’s me again, I’m still not feeling so well, but it’s a private thing supposedly, but I can’t, there’s no way around it. I really would just like to ask for your prayers because Tita Fanny Serrano had a massive stroke today.”
