Ang “Maid in Malacañang” ay isang pelikula tungkol sa pamilya Marcos. Ang pelikula ay pinangunahan ni Boss Vic del Rosario ng Viva Films at inaprubahan ni Senator Imee Marcos. Si Eliza Romualdez-Valtos, ang archaeologist at historian ng pamilya, ang magiging consultant at researcher ng pelikula para mailarawan ang mga tumpak na pangyayari sa Malacanang sa huling tatlong araw ng pamilya Marcos noong 1986.
Samantala, may sinabi naman si Ella Cruz na nakakuha ng atensyon ng maraming netizens sa social media. Hindi kasi matanggap ng iilan ang sinabi ng aktres na “History is like tsismis.”
Ayon kay Ella, “History is like tsismis. It is filtered and dagdag na rin, so hindi natin alam what is the real history. Na’run na iyong idea, pero may mga bias talaga. As long as we are here at may kanya-kanyang opinion, I respect everyone’s opinion.”
